There are two corrections to our New About Town section:
1) The town has nothing to do with the “roundabout” or rotary. The State is exclusively in charge of replacing the town traffic light with the rotary. When that will happen is anyone’s guess. Meanwhile Walgreens is simply moving out of the current rented location, building a smaller building on the vacant lot nearby and reducing their venue to a pharmacy and related areas similar to what they’ve done in Pittsfield.
2) The rumor about Advance Auto moving to a new site is incorrect. A new Auto parts Store moving into the building being constructed and added to the shopping strip on Main St. near the traffic light and Gilman’s electric.
