Happy Father’s Day to all of you dads.  I hope you are enjoying this bully of a day!

Two bits of information for you:

1.  We have a lovely guest speaker for the lake association meeting this year, our own lake side resident Sonia Cianchette who owns Through the Garden Gate, a plant nursery in Corinna.  Sonia is a master gardener and she is Lake Smart Certified.  She will provide us with a short, informative presentation focusing on plants that thrive in this temperature/climate zone, plants that are lake friendly, hardy low-lying shrubs and perennials that will enhance both the beauty AND value of your home and help decrease the amount of yard work so you can enjoy your lake side haven even more.  Sonia will have lots of plants with her for us to see and perhaps purchase to plant after the cookout.

2. The Fireworks are scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 at approximately 9:00 pm.  Please consider making a donation to the fireworks fund by mailing a check to the lake association treasurer Rick Berry at 156 Grove Street in Newport.
